Wines
Whilst using all their skill and training to create stylish wines that are admired by their peers, Sarah and Nigel ensure that all Frog Island wines are fun, approachable and most of all tasty. The resulting wines are spicy, full flavoured and exuberant and typical of a youthful and energetic approach to winemaking. Fruit is sourced at optimum flavour to suit Sarah’s winemaking style and gives depth and strength to the wines.
The cool climate of the Limestone Coast allows the wines to develop fine tannins, elegant structure and dark colour in the reds, whilst retaining fresh fruit flavours and achieving optimal ripeness to suit the Frog Island style. The white varieties have generous fruit flavour, good acid balance and, most strikingly, a lifted and perfumed aroma.

Spicy cherries, toffee, blueberry
Eucalyptus and gingerbread.
Pinot Noir
Cherries, violets and milk chocolates
Approachable soft tannins.
Cabernet Merlot
Cherries, plums, mint with cloves
And cinnamon. Smooth and velvety.
Shiraz
Herbal, plums, pepper, chestnuts.
Rich, juicy and perfumed.
